New approaches to international drama at Drama Summit West

Drama Summit West is delighted to confirm four new speakers for the two day event, which takes place on May 17/18 in Los Angeles.

As drama creators look for new ways to tell their stories Drama Summit West hears from entrepreneurial showrunners and creative execs about evolving models of IP, growing relationships with streamers, and how success is being mined from the fan base and international partnerships.

Joining Marty Adelstein on a panel to discuss this issue will be:

“Henrik”” Sean Furst, president of TV and film, Skybound Entertainment
As a Co-President of TV and Film at Skybound Entertainment, Sean has leveraged the company’s vast library of IP to build a strong platform of film and TV projects. Sean collaborates with the company’s creators to extend their properties into content. Sean, along with his brother Bryan, manages Skybound’s first look deal and relationship with Universal Pictures for film and Amazon for television. Sean also serves as an Executive Producer on the docu-series for AMC Robert Kirkman’s Secret History of Comics and the upcoming feature film adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s second-longest running comic book series Invincible, which is set to be written, directed and produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg for Universal Pictures.
